Like many of you, I have stopped smoking several times. And I have tried everything to be honest with you. I have tried nicotine gums, nicotine patches, nicotine pills.  I have also been prescripted professional therapy like an hypnosis, but i didn't have time and resources for such an option. 

None of those methods have helped me. I was able to smoke less, but only for short times, and I never reach my goal to quit using these methods.
But two years ago I have said to my self that this was enough, and that I had to do something more, because i have already known that none of those methods of quitting smoking have worked for me. After all the researches, I was ready to finally stop poisoning my body with these deadly highly-addictive cancer sticks that they call cigarettes! And I want to do that without having withdrawals. 

So my plan was to reduce daily smoking by one cigarette a day. But after a month, I have started getting feelings that I won’t be able to do this anymore. The only goal in my days was looking forward the next right moment, respecting my times, to light a cigarette.
And right at that point, I knew I was in trouble.

In the first week, I was eating more than I was used to to get better. And every time I thought about getting a cigarette, I take a cracker or a tea. This has helped me a lot. And when I was thinking about a cigarette, ì told in my mind this question: isn't fantastic? I'm now an ex-smoker. The worst thing that you could do is to think about not smoke like a deprivation, because it is the most wonderful thing that you can do for your own body!!

Don't rely on patches or e-cigarettes. With these methods you'll finish to spend time and money, for stay smoking free for how much time? A month or two maybe. Moreover none of those is totally healthy. 

You need to realize that you need to quit. The solution is in your head, because "the big monster" is there. And you have to win the brainwashing that the society put in your mind  ,making you think that to smoke is a necessity like to eat. If you don't eat you will die, if you don't smoke you will live better.
